Tenacity Is a Talent:
Persistence Matters if You Want to Succeed

Failure is not the end. We all fail on any challenging journey at some point and have to re-group and start over again. Failure is a learning experience not the end of a dream.  Persistence and Tenacity WIN everytime so keep moving forward even if you get knocked down to your knees. It just depends on how bad you want it and how willing you are to prepare fully for any upcoming goal and challenge. 

Have you ever wondered what the difference between failure and success really is? The difference is tenacity. Being so determined that you do not accept failure as a failure but only part of the journey. Soon, you will get so used to picking yourself up after stumbling that you do not even bat an eye when things do not go your way. That is life and being able to keep moving in the same direction either through or over obstacles whether you have to walk, crawl, or continue running again. Just keep moving. Persistence matters. 

The Habit of Persistence is a Talent. It is Tenacity that will keep you on the path to getting you to where you want to be and who you want to become... 

Do you think you are untalented / unathletic? I am here to tell you that you can be in incredible shape and not be athletic. You do not have to be a genius to make straight A's. You just have to put in the work consistently even when you don't feel like it. You can overcome lack of talent by outworking everyone in the room. This ability is a "talent" that not many people have. 
Don’t overthink this journey to reach ANY goal you have in front of you - just be persistent. Do hard work now – consistently and patiently.  Assess yourself regularly to see if you are turning weaknesses into strengths and maintaining strengths as needed for your specific tasks in your future. Hard work, consistency, and patience wins every time.
Time to build good habits!  Some people say it takes weeks to build a habit, but it takes less than 10 seconds to change your attitude.

DO NOT RELY ON THE MILITARY TO GET YOU INTO SHAPE AT BASIC TRAINING.  You will get into better shape for sure during your training if you arrive in lower fitness form, but you need to arrive with a foundation of physical fitness that is specific to your future job in the military / fitness tests / training. If you show up out of shape, you could end up failing standards or injuring yourself causing longer delays or removal from training altogether.

EBOOKS (Special Ops– Most of my programs tend to focus on getting TO and THROUGH a specific tactical training program.  So you may see a mix of all the seasons in some of these books, but if you are training long term, you can take advantage of Seasonal Periodization and save yourself some of the over-use, long term pains that tend to follow many of the tactical preparations - especially on the spec ops level of training.
