Burpees - The Exercise Everyone Loves to Hate... Face it,  Burpees are not fun because they are hard.  Think of them as a more dynamic pushup mixed with a squat thrust. The heart rate sky rockets and you start to feel the fatigue or failure of both the arms and the legs.
