For those striving to become Navy Special Warfare / Special Ops members, the Navy PST Workout program is a must-read but more importantly, it is a MUST DO. The 16 weeks of workouts in the program focus on PHASE 1 of tactical fitness training, which is all about earning a Spec-War Contract aka getting to the training. You won't get accepted into the jobs of Navy SEAL, SWCC, EOD/Diver, Rescue Swimmer, or SARC (and other special programs) without crushing this fitness test.

Exceeding the standards IS the standard.

The Navy PST Workout program will show you how to easily handle the Navy PST, giving you the foundation to keep pushing to get THROUGH selection as well. however, Phase2/3 is focused on phase 2 of tactical fitness - getting THROUGH selection (aka graduate spec ops training). If you want to crush the Navy PST without worrying whether you're on the right path or not, then keep reading to learn more about this invaluable program.

The Navy PST Workout - This program is focused on training you to get a contract on the first test and never think about quitting. You will not get accepted to attend training without crushing this fitness test. Since the road to becoming a Navy Special Warfare / Special Ops member is long and challenging, you really want to be able to exceed the minimum standards. You will learn how to do this from doing this workout. There are no minimum standard goals that work in this journey. However, this program is for those who can barely meet the minimum Standards on the Physical Screening Test and takes you to a level where you can handle the Navy PST easily. Then you have the foundation to keep working to prepare yourself to get THROUGH selection.

Navy PST and Navy HPT Preparation

The Navy PST Workout is a 12 week program and designed to help you do just that - to not just meet the minimum standards, but to exceed them. The extra 4 weeks focus on the Navy Special Operations Human Performance Test (HPT) which you will take at some point in your training pipeline. Don't wait to start preparing; the road to becoming a Special Ops member is long and challenging, so start now and build the foundation you need to get THROUGH selection with confidence. Make the commitment to yourself today and take the first step towards achieving your goal.

Where to Find More Information About Optimal Performance Training Programs

When you start training again, consider the seasonal tactical fitness model.  I call it A WAY to train and obviously not the only way to train. But it offers the opportunity to never neglect your weaknesses, helps with flexibility and mobility, but will also put you at a level of physical abilities where you are happy with your overall ability to do just about anything. We have a system where the seasons dictate our training. When it is nicer outside, we tend to run and do more calisthenics. When it is colder and not so nice, we lift more, run less, and still maintain our outdoor activities with shorter runs and rucks. Check it out: Seasonal Tactical Fitness Periodization System.
